Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy explains how Franceskinj Atelier LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), collects and uses your information when you visit franceskinjatelier.com or reserve/purchase Angelino.

2. What we collect

• Your name, title, and email address, given when you reserve or subscribe
• Your delivery address and shipping details, given during Planning
• Your piano's measurements, and any layout or finish choices, given during Tailoring and Planning
• Payment details — handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic technical information from visiting the site, such as your browser and general location, collected automatically by our hosting provider

Your piano's measurements, and any reference photos you send us, are used only to tailor your Angelino to your piano. They're seen only by us and the fabrication partners who need them to make your unit, and are kept only as long as needed to build and service it. See Retention below.

3. Why we collect it

• To process your reservation and purchase
• To tailor your Angelino to your piano, and arrange delivery
• To send you emails about your order, and respond when you contact us
• To send occasional updates about Angelino's development and release, if you've opted in (you may unsubscribe at any time)

4. Our basis for using it

We collect and use this information because it's necessary to fulfill your reservation and purchase, because you've asked to hear from us (and can withdraw that consent whenever you like), because we're required to for accounting, tax or legal reasons, or, in limited cases such as preventing fraud, because we have a legitimate reason to do so.

5. Who we share it with

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional and update emails
• Vercel — website hosting
• Fabrication partners — only the measurements and details needed to build your specific Angelino
• Shipping carriers — to deliver your Angelino and calculate customs where applicable
• Meta (Facebook) — to measure and improve our advertising, as described in Cookies and analytics below

These providers process your information as necessary to provide their services to us, subject to their own privacy policies and applicable law.

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Stripe may collect and process payment, transaction, device, and related information as necessary to process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations, in accordance with its own Stripe Privacy Policy.

Where available, you may choose to pay using Apple Pay. Apple Pay is provided by Apple and processes information necessary to authorize and facilitate your payment in accordance with Apple Pay & Privacy. Your actual card number is not shared with us when you use Apple Pay.

7. International transfers

Some of the providers above may process your information outside the country where you live, including in the United States. Where this happens, we take appropriate steps to protect your information in line with applicable data protection law.

8. Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to fulfill your reservation or order and meet our accounting and legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we're required or permitted by law to keep it. Your piano's measurements and any reference photos are kept only as long as needed to build and service your specific Angelino, and are deleted once that's complete unless you ask us to keep them (for example, to make a future upgrade easier).

9. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information at any time, and you can object to or ask us to limit how we use it. If you've given us consent for something, such as marketing emails, you can withdraw it whenever you like. If you're in the European Union or United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. 10. Cookies and analytics

We use the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors reach and use this site, and to show you relevant Angelino ads on Facebook and Instagram if you've visited before. It uses cookies and shares information such as the pages you visit with Meta, which processes it under its own Privacy Policy. You can opt out of this kind of advertising through your Facebook ad settings. Our payment processor, Stripe, may also set its own cookies as part of securely processing your payment.

When you complete a reservation, we also share your email address with Meta in a one-way, irreversible hashed form, so it can match your purchase to the ad that led to it without ever seeing your actual email address. This is used only to measure and improve our advertising.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we only do any of this if you accept it in our cookie banner; if you decline, no Meta tracking is loaded and nothing is shared. You can change your choice at any time in our cookie settings.

11. Marketing emails

If you sign up with your email, we may send you occasional updates about Angelino's development and release. Every one of these emails includes an unsubscribe link, or you can just let us know and we'll unsubscribe you.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limiting access to those who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised; if we make a material change, we'll let you know.
