Terms
Last updated October 2026
1. Who we are
Angelino is a product of Franceskinj Atelier LLC ("Franceskinj Atelier," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your use of franceskinjatelier.com (the "Site") and your reservation and purchase of Angelino. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. By accessing or using the Site, or by reserving or purchasing Angelino, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What you're purchasing
Each Angelino is a mechatronic device, built to your piano's specific dimensions, that performs through it. Your edition (Founder's, Patron, or Legacy) includes the Angelino unit and the benefits listed for that edition on the Site at the time of your reservation. As each Angelino is cast, machined and hand-finished to order, minor natural variation in finish, texture, or exact dimensions between units (within normal manufacturing tolerance) is expected and is not a defect.
3. Reservations and payment schedule
Reserving an Angelino requires a $100 deposit. At release, this deposit is applied toward a first payment of 50% of your edition's price, completing your purchase. If your edition reaches one or more milestones (see The Journey), you may select optional upgrades during the Planning phase that follows, charged in full at the time of selection; once selected, an upgrade cannot be changed or exchanged. The remaining 50% balance is collected before shipment. See our Refund Policy for exactly when each of these payments becomes non-refundable.
Your reservation, and the early-access window it provides, lasts through the close of your edition's release. If your purchase isn't completed by then — whether your edition has sold out, or the window has simply passed — your reservation comes to a close, and no unit remains held for you. Your deposit is never lost, however: it carries forward and applies toward whichever edition is then open, at that edition's price.
The 12-hour early-access period is a head start, not an exclusive window: once it ends, your edition also becomes available for direct purchase by the public.
4. Made-to-specification goods
Angelino is built to the specific dimensions of your piano and is therefore made-to-specification, personalized goods. Laws such as the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU generally exempt goods made to a consumer's specifications or clearly personalized (Article 16(c)) from the standard statutory right of withdrawal that otherwise applies to online purchases. We intend Angelino to fall within that exemption; the exact scope depends on the law of your jurisdiction. Nothing here limits any statutory right that cannot be waived or limited by agreement. See our Refund Policy for how this applies to payments.
5. Tailoring and customization
Following Planning, we will contact you for your piano's measurements and any layout or finish choices available to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the measurements and details you provide. Once submitted and tooling begins, your specifications are final; we are not responsible for fitting issues arising from inaccurate information you provided, though we will always work with you to make it right wherever possible.
6. Delivery
Angelino is built in the months following the close of each edition's release. We do not yet publish a fixed delivery timeline; an estimated delivery window will be shared with you directly once available. Delivery dates, and any other timing referenced on the Site or in communications from us, are estimates, not guarantees, unless expressly stated otherwise, and may shift due to the custom nature of production.
7. Shipping, duties and taxes
Angelino is assembled in Milan, Italy, and ships from there. Shipping costs are not included in the purchase price. Delivery details and estimated shipping charges and, for international orders, customs duties and import taxes are calculated during Planning based on your destination. Final amounts are confirmed before shipment and charged alongside your remaining balance. We handle customs and duty payments directly (delivered duty paid), so you will not receive a separate customs bill on delivery.
8. Warranty
Every Angelino is covered by a 12-month warranty on parts and workmanship from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage from misuse, accident, unauthorized modification or repair, normal wear, or improper installation. Remedies under this warranty are repair, replacement, or, at our discretion, partial refund. To make a claim, contact us with a description of the issue. This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any statutory consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
9. Pricing and editions
Angelino is offered in limited, numbered editions, each with its own pricing. Prices for a given edition are fixed once that edition opens and do not change retroactively for existing reservations within that edition.
10. Website use
You may use the Site to learn about Angelino, reserve your place, and follow its progress. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information wherever it's requested.
11. Prohibited use
You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Site or the systems behind it, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer it, or use it to impersonate any person or submit false information. We may cancel any reservation we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or made in bad faith.
12. Intellectual property
The Site, and everything on it, including text, images, the Angelino name, logo, and design, belongs to Franceskinj Atelier LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing on the Site grants you any right to use our name, branding, or content without our prior written permission.

14. Third-party services and links
The Site may link to, or rely on, third-party services (such as our payment processor) or reference third-party websites. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third party, and a link doesn't imply our endorsement of it.
15. Disclaimers and liability
The Site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, and our liability arising from your purchase of Angelino is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
16. Force majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, supplier or material shortages, or governmental action. Affected obligations, including delivery estimates, are suspended for the duration of such an event and resumed as soon as reasonably possible.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply and cannot be waived.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised date will appear above when we do.
